The emerging Semantic Web of Food is enabling standardized access to data across the food system. These data stores are often encoded in ontologies to facilitate standardized access, query, and the development of reasoning and learning algorithms. This panel will outline the role of this emerging semantic web of food, and it's role in addressing global food system issues.
